Design and Development of Embedded Software and Electronics

Zexia develops embedded software and electronics for CCTV and related markets. Four network/digital video recorder (DVR) manufacturers and a camera manufacturer have used our expertise or use our modules under licence. Related markets include media players which run alongside CCTV systems on busses and trains. Teams of up to 7 staff have been provided to develop custom products for customers.

Additionally Zexia develops and owns a number of technologies including:

LASS ("Large allocation storage system") is a thrid generation storage system optimised for CCTV and Megapixel Digital Video Recorders. Currently licenced to 3 DVR manufacturers.

H264 compression IP core. This is owned by Zexia but marketed by a distributor.

Zexia has developed Digital CCTV camera software and electronics for megapixel video cameras and other bespoke developments for clients.
